January 26, 2017 - New Haven, Conn. — The South Central Connecticut Regional Water Authority (RWA) is partnering with Dollar Energy Fund to offer a new program aimed at assisting low-income customers in the RWA’s service territory pay their water bills.

The system will allow the RWA to accurately read customers’ water meters by securely transmitting a low-powered signal from an AMI endpoint, a small device connected to the meter, back to the RWA’s office.
